Councillor for Deagon Ward, Jared Cassidy has welcomed the resurfacing of Bilsen Road in Geebung, Stanworth Road in Boondall and Percy Street in Zillmere.
Bilsen Road will be resurfaced between Brickyard Road and the Railway Station. These works have been in progress since September 19 and are due to be wrapped up by October 19.
Stanworth Road will be resurfaced between Roscommon Road and Aberdeen Parade and works will be conducted between the 11th and 17th of October.
Resurfacing on Percy Street will begin on October 19 and are expected to last for a week.
“It’s great to see these important road upgrades being carried out as some of the many local projects that I have been able to secure for the local area in this year’s Council budget” Cr Cassidy said.
“While these works may result in some inconveniences for residents, this will only be temporary and will result in a new and smooth street”
“Residents should receive a notification in the mail, so it’s best to keep your car off the street during this work to ensure it runs smoothly”.
